Working with CATIA using version V4 and V5 software over the past twelve years. It has been an interesting journey seeing the ins-and-outs of CATIA and how it has changed and developed the products we use today.

With formal training from IBM and Dassault Systems for CATIA applications there is a strong backing in my resources. Here is a quick run down of what I have been working as for the past few years.

Designing with CATIA V4 and V5

  • Supported and worked in the areas of Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing and Tooling. Digital 3D mockups to complete production components.

CATIA Systems Analyst

  • Beta testing software versions and patches before installation in production environment. Developing modeling methodology and end-user support.  Technical advisor in CAD and CAM systems.

CATIA V4 and V5 Instructor

  • Providing training to end-users from the West coast to the East coast. Accredited and certified for SmarTeam PDM system implementations and end-user training. Instructed Enovia PDM systems to end-users and department management.

Application Engineer

  • Installation and configuration of CATIA software and servers for customer needs. Training end-users in CATIA V4, V5, and Enovia. Debugging and fixing end-users models, nation-wide Help Desk support for CATIA users. Sales support engineer providing technical demos to customers.

Application Consultant

  • Providing demonstrations and hands-on seminars for CATIA V5 in the United States and Canada. Contracted for on-site support and process management at Customer locations. Training end-users in CATIA V4, V5, and Enovia to provide best modeling practice.

CNC Programmer / Tool Design

  • Complete process from concept sketches to complete working products. CNC programming CAD models and tool development using the latest CATIA V5 tools for prismatic and multi-axis machining. Machining experience and skills to run programs optimize routines for use on High Speed mills and complex 5-axis milling operations.

Independent Consultant

  • I continue to provide all of the same services and resources as mentioned above but with better customer service and at a more cost effective price. I have been employed as a direct employee supporting CATIA for many of the large corporations using the CATIA software and now I support the rest of the industries with the same knowledge and experience.

Specializing in implementing CATIA software into small to medium size businesses and supporting CATIA Consulting Services.

Previous employers directly employed supporting CATIA: The BOEING Company, Debis IT (Mercedes-Benz), Advance Enterprise Solutions (AES), MSCsoftware, Floyd Rose Guitars, and INCAT. Service and Consulting work was also provided for many of the CATIA companies in Automotive, Aerospace, and Consumer Good in the United States and Canada.

Benefits of an Independent Consultant:
